An Allegheny County man is facing charges after Pennsylvania State Police say he tried to shoot a pastor who was giving a sermon at a church in North Braddock. Video shows Pastor Glen Germany preaching at the Jesus Dwelling Place Church yesterday morning when a man walks up and points the handgun directly at the pastor. Police say the gunman tried to fire the gun but it didn’t go off. Police have identified the gunman as 26 year old Bernard Polite from Braddock. One of the deacons of the church was able to wrestle Polite to the ground and hold him until police arrived.  In the meantime, a man who was shot and killed earlier, was found in Polite’s North Braddock home.  An investigation is underway into whether the two shootings are related.
