A Western Pennsylvania nurse will spend the rest of her life behind bars for killing 17 patients with excessive doses of insulin. Heather Pressdee of Natrona Heights pled guilty and was sentenced to life in prison without parole after being accused of administering high doses of insulin to patients at rehabilitation centers in Pennsylvania between 2020 and 2023. The state attorney general’s office said murder charges were filed against the 41-year-old nurse only in cases where physical evidence was available. In a statement, the attorney general said Pressdee “used her position of trust as a means to poison patients who depended on her for care.”
