U.S. Senator Bob Casey says he’s moving forward with legislation he’s co-sponsored to address antisemitism at universities. Casey’s comments came Monday in Pittsburgh in questions about his Antisemitism Awareness Act. The senior Senator from Pennsylvania is a co-sponsor of the Senate version. The legislation that passed the House last week lays out what kind of on-campus speech and behavior would be defined as discriminatory under federal law. Though Casey didn’t get the measure approved through unanimous consent, he told reporters he plans to try again.
