A 75 year old Bedford man is facing more than 1,000 charges of possessing child pornography. Gary Lee Hollis was arraigned yesterday on over 1,000 felony charges of child pornography and many other related offenses. The charges are as a result of an investigation that began last February when police received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. They were contacted by Microsoft-Online Operations after an image that was believed to be child porn was uploaded into Bing Image in an effort to search for similar images. It was later learned the URL address came back to Hollis. Four electronic devices were seized from his home and sent to the state police lab. The lab report resulted in hundreds of images depicting sexual abuse of children less than 13, being found. Hollis posted bail and was released from custody. His preliminary hearing is set for May 22 in Bedford County Court.
