Planning is moving forward for a second Rutter’s Convenience Store in Centre County. Earlier this week, the Ferguson Township Planning Commission recommended conditional approval of the store and gas station chain’s preliminary land development at the corner of Blue Course Drive and West College Avenue. Plans show an over 13 thousand square foot store and 16 fuel pumps on the over 6 acre lot, along with nearly 100 parking spaces. The Rutter’s location is one of two proposed gas station and convenience stores, in the works, in Ferguson Township. Rutter’s opened their first Centre County location in Bellefonte in 2020.
