The former Somerset County District Attorney pled no contest yesterday in a domestic violence case involving he and his wife while he was serving as district attorney. In May of 2021, Jeff Thomas was charged with punching his wife in the head while they were traveling thru the Johnstown area. Authorities say Thomas was sentenced to two years probation, which he will serve concurrently with his two and a half year prison sentence for his conviction regarding the sexual assault of a Windber woman.
