A warrant has led to the arrest of two Altoona residents after drugs were found in a home described as “deplorable,” and, where a child lived. 24 year old Isiah Shumac who was arrested earlier this week after allegedly possessing a stolen gun, and 33 year old Filicia Hollen were arrested after authorities went to the North 4th Avenue home looking for Shumac. Once there, police reported a child living in the home that had trash and moldy food thru-out. Also the toilet was inoperable, sinks were clogged and there was feces in the bedroom. During the search police reportedly found a handgun, suspected heroin and meth and drug paraphernalia. The two were taken to the Blair County Prison. Bail was set at $75,000 for Shumac, and $15,000 for Hollen.
