Pennsylvania motorists are paying a little extra as they top off the tank heading into the Memorial Day weekend. As reported by Triple-A, the average price for a gallon of regular rose slightly yesterday in the Keystone State to just under $3.78, this as the corresponding national figure also increased to half a cent to over $3.61. Here in Blair County, the cost is $3.89 a gallon. The cheapest gas continues to be found in Mississippi, with the Magnolia State figure rising incrementally to a little over $3.06. At the other end of the gas-price spectrum, California’s state average fell slightly on Thursday to a little over $5.15 a gallon.
