PA Lawmakers Pressure Game Commission for Changes

Pennsylvania lawmakers say there is work to be done in forcing accountability and transparency at the state’s Game Commission. State Rep. David Maloney says if Game Commission leaders won’t voluntarily accept new rules for transparency, then the legislature will have to enact them. Maloney is quite critical of the Game Commission, which he’s called a “cabal” that decides to do things as they will. Maloney’s criticism comes just weeks after PGC executive director Bryan Burhans resigned because of a conflict of interest with his business relationship with people working under him.
