Antis Township supervisors have agreed to pay Amtran slightly more than six thousand dollars a year to fulfill the township’s local share obligation for the bus authority’s new northern Blair route. Another northern Blair County municipality that has agreed to pay their share is Tyrone, with Bellwood reportedly in favor of paying their share as well. Between June of last year and April of this year, the route, that runs between Pinecroft and Tyrone had generated nearly four thousand rides, despite it only being a part-time operation during that time period.
