A Centre County man is behind bars after trying to kill his sister as a sacrifice, claiming the devil made him do it. 20 year old D’Andre McCaslin is facing numerous charges including attempted murder. On June 7th police were called to a domestic incident involving siblings. When police arrived they found a woman in bed with swollen lips and tongue, and marks around her neck. McCaslin was taken into custody and allegedly told authorities the devil made him try and sacrifice his sister. According to his sister, McCaslin acted strange and asked if boys had ever done anything to her. She further stated that McCaslin said, “I love you all” and then began to strangle her. Along with attempted murder, McCaslin is charged with attempts to cause serious bodily injury, strangulation, and other related offenses. He is currently in the Centre County Prison where bail has been set at $115,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 18th.
