A Centre County man was killed and another injured following a UTV crash that occurred in Clearfield County Saturday evening. The deceased has been identified as 43 year old Stefan Briner of Julian. The identity of the 28 year old Houtzdale man who was driving the UTV, has not been released. Authorities say the crash occurred in the area of Mease Road in Knox Township. Police say the driver was traveling east when he reportedly left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was taken to Penn Highlands in Clearfield and his condition in not known at this time. State police are continuing with an investigation.
