An Altoona man is behind bars after a nearly five year investigation into allegations he raped a female acquaintance just moments after the two engaged in a consensual sexual encounter. Arrested was 29 tear old Fredrick Folta lll. Police say the incident happened in September of 2019, at a residence in Frankstown Township, when the two engaged in consensual sex. According to the criminal complaint, while the victim was getting dressed, Folta allegedly forced her to have sex a second time, despite numerous pleas for him to stop. Folta was arraigned this week on charges of felony rape and sexual assault. He is currently in the Blair County Prison on $75,000 bail.
