A 38 year old Clearfield man has been accused of sexually assaulting a 4 year old girl. Jerry Lefort was charged yesterday after local police were sent to a residence on East Cherry Street to investigate the sexual assault. When authorities arrived, Lefort was found hiding in a closet. He has been charged with numerous counts including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of someone under 16, corruption of minors and other related offenses. He is currently in the Clearfield County Prison and bail has been set at $250,000.
