A Centre County man has died and another is in critical condition after an incident Saturday afternoon in the Susquehanna River in Lock Haven. The deceased has been identified as Gavin Frey of Howard. Authorities were dispatched to the river around 4:45 p.m. for reports of two swimmers in distress. A 22 year old man was rescued and brought back to shore, and then was transported to Geisinger Danville in critical condition. The identity of the 22 year old is not being released at this time.
