State Representative Rob Matzie is urging local municipalities, nonprofits, local libraries and other community groups to apply to the new Digital Connectivity Technology Program. Matzie who is a board member of the Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority, says the Authority will be buying and distributing 20-million dollars’ worth of laptops so communities can make the technology available for residents. Deadline to submit for an application is August 19th. Online applications can be made through the PBDA website.
