An Altoona woman has been charged with hitting another woman with a baseball bat on the 500 block of 6th Avenue on Saturday. Reportedly, 42 year old Christina Sprankle got into an argument with another woman and allegedly used a baseball bat to hit the other woman in the torso. The victim was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries. Sprankle has been charged with aggravated assault, harassment and other charges related to this incident. Sprankle was released on $75,000 unsecured bail.
