An Altoona woman is facing more arson charges after trying to set her house on fire twice this month. 42 year old Tyesha Rivers initially set her home on fire, located on the 100 block of 7th Avenue, on June 7th.  River’s 21 year old daughter reportedly told authorities Rivers “went crazy” and tried setting the kitchen on fire and yelling at the girls to get out of the house. Court records show after her initial arrest she was evaluated and released to her home before starting a second fire on June 10th. She has now been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. She was arraigned for the June 10th incident on a felony count of reckless burning, arson and numerous other related charges.  She has not yet been arraigned for the June 7th incident.
