An Altoona mother has been charged with child endangerment and recklessly endangering another, after police found what they referred to as a “staggering amount” of drug paraphernalia in the home she was living in with her grandmother. Arrested was 27 year old Allison Hubler. According to the criminal complaint, Hubler, who is the mother of an infant was living with her grandmother, as her grandmother had been given power for decisions regarding the child. Hubler’s grandmother reportedly had noticed on a security camera that Hubler had left the living room with the child numerous times and went upstairs and would then return. When authorities arrived, after receiving a 911 hang-up call from the home, a search began, and needles, baggies with white residue and pieces of burnt foil were found in the attic. Hubler was arraigned yesterday and placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
