The Transportation Security Administration is announcing some upcoming changes at the Pittsburgh International Airport which are expected to speed up security checkpoints.  This comes as the airport is currently seeing its highest numbers of travelers since even before the COVID pandemic.  Starting in July, travelers who have enrolled in TSA PreCheck will have alternate security checkpoints weekdays between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m.  The alternate checkpoints are expected to lighten the load at main TSA security checkpoints.  Travelers are still urged to get to the airport between two and three hours before their flights.
