Pennsylvania’s next state budget is going to be late. State Senators last week said the proposed 48-point-five-billion-dollar State Budget, which was due yesterday, won’t be ready. Senate Majority Leader Joe Pittman said the Senate will be back today, while the Pennsylvania House worked throughout the weekend. Governor Shapiro says he is the only Governor in the country who has a divided legislature, with a House led by Democrats and a Senate led by Republicans. He says the split can cause delays due to both the House and Senate having different visions.
