A Centre County man is behind bars today after using bad and stolen checks to buy vehicles. Arrested was 28 year old Jeremy Zelenky of Bellefonte. He reportedly would use stolen checks to purchase vehicles online and then provide the sellers with bad checks. Zelenky has been charged with felony counts of forgery, theft by unlawful taking, and numerous other related counts. He is currently in the Centre County Prison, where bail has been denied. His preliminary hearing is set for tomorrow.
