Demolition has begun on the Juniata Silk Mill building, located on Broadway and West 14th Avenue in Altoona. Demolition began earlier this week. The plan is to renovate the building and lease it out to businesses in the Juniata area. Reportedly, it is hoped the renovations will be completed by the end of this summer.
