According to a report from KDKA out of Pittsburgh, all the talk about whether President Joe Biden will drop out of the race for president, has resulted in Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s name being mentioned as a possible candidate. “Governor Shapiro has built quite the reputation nationally in a very short period of time,” Democratic political strategist Mike Mikus said. The report notes that at age 51, Shapiro offers a generational change. But would he run? In an earlier interview, Shapiro said he would not, saying he was honored to be serving as Governor of Pennsylvania. But there has been speculation he may be eyeing 2028.
