A house fire that spread to a local business, broke out yesterday afternoon in Everett, Bedford County. Authorities say the fire occurred along the 200 block of West Main Street. The fire reportedly started at the home and spread to a nearby hair salon, and trailer. No one was injured, but sadly two cats perished in the fire. Numerous other animals, including some fish and a turtle were saved. Cause of the blaze is under investigation.
