A former Clearfield County man has been charged with murder in the death of a 4-year-old boy in Amarillo, Texas. Reportedly, 29 year old Brady Burkett, formerly from DuBois, was arrested on the Fourth of July for his role in the death of Wesson Grist. Authorities say the little boy died after Burkett allegedly “compressed” his body during an incident in August of 2022. Bail has been set at $750,000. In 2018 Burkett was arrested for setting multiple fires at a trailer park in Sandy Township, Clearfield County.
