Pirate’s rookie pitcher Paul Skenes has been selected to the All-Star Game. The 22 year old, who has only played for the Pirates for 8 weeks since his major league debut, was selected yesterday by Major League Baseball for the National League roster. Skenes called his being chosen for the All-Star Game as a “really cool opportunity”.
