Expect to see more ferns, sedges, rushes, wildflowers along the highways in Pennsylvania. A new state law bans the planting of non-native and invasive species. State Rep. Brett Miller says it’s a small thing, but it will make a big impact across the state. Miller helped get the plan to Governor Shapiro’s desk this year. As of now there’s no list of plants that cannot be planted, or a list of plants that must be planted. The legislation says those lists are being written.
