Blair County Commissioners voted to fire their Chief Clerk and County Administrator by a 2-1 vote yesterday. Commissioner Laura Burke opposed the firing of Nicole Hemminger. Hemminger held the post for four years. The reason for her firing has not been addressed publicly, however Commissioner Dave Kessling has said the Commissioners are working to change the work culture. The Blair County Commissioners plan to fill the role in the near future.
