A Somerset County woman is facing charges following a Tuesday incident involving two young children. Twenty-five-year-old Samantha Cherry reportedly led police in a pursuit that began in Maryland and ended in Fayette County. Pennsylvania State Police say that’s where Cherry abandoned her vehicle with two toddlers inside. Cherry was located and taken into custody on charges including DUI and endangering child welfare.
