Altoona City Council is considering becoming a part of a program that would allow residents to pay a monthly fee to cover up to $1,000 a year in minor home repairs. This Handyman Program charges enrollees $14.99 a month, which allows up to three repairs per year, and provides the program’s municipal partners with 15% of the total revenue that is generated by the fee. When municipalities sign on to the Handyman Program, it is up to them to inform homeowners of the enrollment. The program is run by the Integral Group Solution aimed at improving home maintenance, by offering affordable and reliable handyman services.
