Three Altoona residents were arrested for allegedly possessing 250 heroin packets that were discovered during a traffic stop. Arrested were 29-year-old Christopher Alley, 34-year old Brittany Hallett, and 33-year-old Kendall Geist. The traffic stop occurred Friday night along 26th Street and Beale Avenue, because the vehicle the three were riding in, had tinted windows, which prevented officers from seeing inside. After the three exited the vehicle, K9 Blue was brought out to sniff around the vehicle, and the dog reportedly signaled at the driver’s side door. As police continued their search, they discovered 250 packets of heroin. The three were arraigned on numerous drug related charges. Bail has been set at $200,000 for Geist and Alley. Hallett’s was set at $100,000. Hallett posted bail before being processed at the Blair County Prison.
