A House resolution honoring the former Pennsylvania fire chief killed during an assassination attempt at a Trump rally this month was introduced Monday by Republican Representative Mike Kelly. HR 1369 has the support of over 70 co-sponsors. Kelly says Corey Comperatore “exemplified what it means to be a man of service and sacrifice.” Before losing his life, the 50-year-old married father of two reportedly shielded his family from bullets as a gunman fired into the crowd, in Butler, Pa., in an attempt to kill former President Donald Trump.
