A former Penn Cambria baseball booster’s president has been accused of forging over 70 checks. 47-year-old Jeramie Yeoman from Lilly, is facing charges of forgery and criminal use of a communication facility. According to the Cresson Borough Police Department, they were contacted by the Penn Cambria baseball boosters in April to report several forgeries. Police reportedly were shown bank statements that had forged signatures on numerous checks. The current president also informed authorities that Yeoman allegedly refused to turn over any books regarding the program. During the investigation police determined that 72 checks were forged, or had been altered, between April and July of 2023. Yeoman is currently out of prison on unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 13th.
