A Roaring Spring woman will spend 5-10 years in state prison after she pled guilty to delivering drugs that led to the fatal overdose of her boyfriend. 40-year old Tara Appleman was sentenced earlier this week in Blair County Court. Last October she was charged, after an investigation into the death of 43-year-old Shawn Malone, who was found unconscious at his family’s home on Mill Run Road, in Altoona. An autopsy showed Malone died of a fentanyl overdose.
