The National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation has submitted its yearly adjustment to gas supply charges, which go into effect today. Natural Fuel, supplies gas for parts of Clearfield, Jefferson and Elk Counties. The adjustment will increase the monthly bill of a “typical residential customer” by $7.40, which will increase the bill from $64.72 to $72.12. National Fuel noted in a press release, the increase in supply charges, is due to higher market prices for natural gas.
