Taking the spotlight for our latest “Local Song of the Week” is one of the new songs recently issued by State College-based blues and Americana artist Chris Bell. Although Chris nowadays does a lot of country-based music, he returns to his blues roots on this song, “Quiet Part Out Loud.” Chris sings and slings a mean guitar on this number, and he is joined by a renowned guest to contribute some additional guitar fireworks – Greg Martin of the Kentucky Headhunters! Another Happy Valley musician – John Lynch – provides the drum beats here. The Chris Bell Band performs throughout the central PA region, and will perform during Tyrone Hops & Vines in downtown Tyrone on August 10!
