A five-year-old child that had been reported missing yesterday in Bedford County, has been found safe. The child’s father, 31 year old Matthew Jones, has been arrested and is facing a felony charge of kidnapping a minor while interfering with a public official, and one felony charge of interference with the custody of children. Jones is currently in the Bedford County Prison. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Wednesday.
