The Attorney General of Pennsylvania is demanding more from the railway involved in last year’s train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. A-G Michelle Henry says many Pennsylvania residents are still feeling the impacts of the derailment, and Norfolk Southern must provide more aid. In a letter to federal officials, Henry claims Norfolk Southern has provided “inadequate health care funding” for the effects of the derailment, and failed to incorporate recommendations made by the National Transportation Safety Board following the incident. She added that the full extent of the health impacts of the derailment are still to be seen.
