A Tyrone man was convicted by a Blair County jury yesterday, on 82 counts of sex and drug crimes, including child pornography and human trafficking. Convicted was 26-year-old Paul Holpit. In the spring of 2022 it was learned Holpit was trading marijuana for sex with teens. The case broke open when one of the teens reported what was going on to Tyrone Police and Tyrone High School personnel. Holpit has been in the county lockup since his arrested in 2022. His sentencing is scheduled for November 1st.
