Railroad cross maintenance will begin today which will result in a road closure. The work is being done by Norfolk Southern as they replace the railroad crossing at the Wye Switches on Third Avenue in Duncansville. Third Avenue, between Plank Road and Sixth Avenue will be closed starting tonight at midnight through midnight on Wednesday, August 21st. Traffic will not be allowed to use Third Avenue at the crossing at any time during the work. Traffic will be detoured.
