One of Pennsylvania’s senators is not in Chicago with his fellow Democrats this week. Senator John Fetterman is skipping the DNC in Chicago. Fetterman said he wants to, instead, stay home with his kids. Fetterman has been vocal about his displeasure with the Democratic move to push President Biden out of the race. He’s also been a vocal supporter of Israel, which would likely have made him a target for the pro-Palestinian protesters who are in the streets during the Democratic National Convention. No one is saying yet if Pennsylvania’s other Senator, Bob Casey, will get a speaking role at this week’s convention.
