Today is the first day of school for many kids in our area. As a reminder, state police will be putting extra safety measures in place to make sure children remain safe. You are reminded to be more mindful of children at bus stops, and of course school buses as well. Drivers who do not adhere to school bus safety laws could face a fine of up to $250, and have their driver’s license suspended for up to 60 days.
