According to the Cambria County coroner, a human skull that was found in May in the Little Conemaugh River in Conemaugh Township, showed no trauma. As a result of this latest finding, authorities are continuing to ask for the public’s help in solving this death investigation. Earlier, it was determined the skull belonged to 40-year old Michael Theys Jr., of Mineral Point, who had been reported missing for over a year. Yesterday, Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said that a forensic exam determined the skull suffered no trauma. The coroner’s office has ruled the death undetermined, and the skull will be released to a funeral home.
