Meanwhile, the national average dropped slightly to three-thirty-seven a gallon. The cheapest gas continues to be found in Mississippi, where Magnolia State motorists were paying an average of two-ninety-two per gallon on Friday. Prices continue to be highest in Hawaii, which rose slightly to four-66 a gallon.
