Drinking Water Near Site Of Ohio Train Derailment To Be Tested For The Next 10 Years

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro says that the Commonwealth will continue the testing of drinking water near the site of last year’s train derailment in East Palestine.  A number of rail cars, some carrying hazardous materials, went off the tracks last February in the Ohio community not far from Beaver County.  The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection says water from private drinking water wells will continue to be tested for the next ten years.
