Officials are anticipating a busy Labor Day weekend at the Pittsburgh International Airport. The TSA says 17-million people are expected to travel by air nationwide, now thru September 4th. This summer has been the busiest one at the Pittsburgh airport in nearly 20 years, and that’s according to the Allegheny Airport Authority. They say more than 960-thousand passengers travelled in and out of the hub last month, the highest number since 2005.
