One of Scranton’s lawmakers is pushing ahead with rules for flying cars. State Senator Marty Flynn has introduced legislation that would allow for ‘roadable aircraft’ here in Pennsylvania. She is looking for other lawmakers to sign-on to the plan. Her proposal would set the rules for ‘would travel both on roadways as a motor vehicle and flown in the airspace as an aircraft.’ Flynn is not out of left field on this, there are already rules for future flying cars in New York and Minnesota. Her proposal says flying cars would have to obey the rules of the road when they are on the road, and follow the rules for aircraft when they are flying.
