A State College landmark will open its doors today after closing four years ago. The Nittany Lion Inn closed to the public in 2020 when it was used as temporary student housing. After it was purchased in 2021, extensive renovations got underway with its re-opening scheduled for today. The iconic inn was built over 90 years ago, and with its new makeover, now features 230 guest rooms, 13 conference rooms, and a 500-seat ballroom. In addition, the redesigned interior features dark wood with accents of blue and white.
