A Roaring Spring man is behind bars following a hostage related incident on Labor Day, at the Rodeway Inn, in Altoona. Logan Township Police arrested 35-year old Robert Foor lll, after he allegedly assaulted a woman and threatened both she and another man while holding them both hostage in the hotel room. Police say the male victim reported he saw Foor and the woman arguing in the parking lot and he tried to “deescalate the situation. “ Foor then reportedly invited the man inside the hotel room at which point he proceeded to assault and strangle the woman. Foor is then to have slammed the door shut to the room, where he kept the two hostage. Foor eventually let the male leave the room at which time he called 911. Reports state the female victim suffered multiple injuries, including broken teeth and was taken to UPMC for evaluation. Foor is facing charges that include aggravated assault, strangulation and unlawful restraint. He is in the Blair County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
